I have this habit where I often 'go off on one' in my head. I later realised that I'd like to share these little outbursts in more than 140 characters (the maximum characters in a tweet). And since my last poetry blog I realised that this would be a good way to do it. So read my views and beliefs and think about them and compare them to your own. Enjoy!! :)

The Lazy Homosapien

Inventions over the last 50 years have been brilliant. But may I kindly point out that I mean the LAST 50 years. We've gone from home phones and computers that take up half you living room to mobile phones which are basically a computer but many, many times faster than the original ones. Yes, it has changed an awful lot in not much time at all and it's only getting faster. I think that many older generations get frustrated with modern technology because they don't understand how it can be so clever and because they think it's slightly pointless. I'm already getting to that stage of getting frustrated with technology. Mainly because it has made me realise how lazy the homosapien is. Recent developments in technology show that we can not be bothered to just read text to study we have to search for a certain word to help us, we can not be bothered get up and to play a CD or DVD we want all of it there in our hands. I will be devastated to see the death of the CD because of iTunes. And I'm sure there are many other things that disappear and be replaced by something 'better'. It's disappointing. I would hate for later generations to not be able to understand how much effort we put into our work these days. And already I know I am lazier than my parents and my parents are lazier than my grandparents, how lazy will my children be? Ask your self that as our effort in our work deteriorates because one day it may be replaced by robots and then they won't work for us. We will be working for them.
